The open great room is perfect for holiday gatherings. The 24-foot-tall ceiling is supported by a center post comprised of two 12-inch-diameter pine logs that are hand-fitted togather. The furnishings, which were purchased everywhere from major department stores to Amish craftsmen, blend well togather. "We spent a lot of time planning, right down to outlets in the floor for the lamps," says Mark. |
